You are cordially invited to our meeting on ‘Conservative Conservation’ and The Environment on Wednesday evening 30th May at 7 p.m. This follows our very successful meeting in October on Conservative Values with Sir Tony Baldry and is the second of many regular meetings discussing politics, with an informative speaker and supper and replaces the old-style CPF [Conservative Policy Forum].
We are privileged to have as speaker Prof EJ Milner-Gulland, Tasso Leventis Professor of Biodiversity; Director, Interdisciplinary Centre for Conservation Science; Fellow of Merton College University of Oxford, who is an internationally acknowledged expert on bio-diversity conservation.
(For more information about Prof Milner-Gulland’s work please see: www.iccs.org.uk , www.saigaresourcecentre.com , www.illegalwildlifetrade.net , www.conservationoptimism.com )
After Prof. Milner-Gulland’s talk we will hold a discussion over a delicious buffet supper, at this is a 15th century former Coaching Inn in the thatched barn, and feed our views back to the Party as part of the Conservative Policy Forum review which are fed into Party policy.
Pre-booking is vital, so please reserve your place early and by 21st May. The booking form and Flyer with more information is attached. PLEASE CLICK HERE
