Candidates for the local elections in May are heading out and about meeting residents across the Constituency hearing from them about the issues that concern them - and the message that they're hearing is that it's the local stuff, that worries them - the things that the local council should be looking after but that the LibDem/Green council has neglected over the past four years. The main issue is the state of the roads, and of course the potholes which is why Conservatives across Oxfordshire have started the Pothole Emergency campaign - visit the Campaigns and Surveys page to sign our petition - and why Conservative councillors proposed an additional £6m to address the pothole issue in the recent alternative budget. This was rejected by the LibDems. Councillors and candidates will continue to raise this issue as they want to deliver what's important to residents.
If you see them out and about, stop them to say hello....
